The Croatian-born classical guitarist is back at the Palau de la Música Catalana to offer a gran recital, one of the highlights of the festival Maestros de la Guitarra.
Known as one of the leading classical guitarists worldwide, following a magnificent performance at the I International Guitar Festival “Ferran Sor”, the Croatian-born maestro Zoran Dukic returns to Barcelona this Saturday, November 12th, at 9pm. He will be back in the city for a unique concert, a recital in one of the most important symbols of the Catalana capital: the Palau de la Música Catalana – a modernist building which became a world heritage site in 1997. Through the last decades, Zoran Dukic has played in the five continents, being prized in the most important competitions such as the Concurso de Guitarra Guerrero, in Madrid, patronized by the Spanish Royal Family, where he was the first foreigner awarded with the special prize for the best interpretation of Spanish music. He also has taught generations of classical guitarists across the world and his classes are among the most demanded in Europe.
Zoran Dukic will interpret pieces composers such as A. Piazzolla, I. Albéniz, M. Tadic, G. Drozd, M. M. Ponce and J.S. Bach. Tickets to watch him in Barcelona are already on sale at the website of the Palau de la Música Catalana.
